HIVELEDGER / CLEAR INFORMATIONWebsite & account privacy.
Updated 2 November 2026.
Information we collect
We collect your account email, password hash, verification and account status; order amounts and Stripe references; subscription and licence status; device names and hashed installation fingerprints; and support messages you submit. The website does not collect your locally stored business records merely because you visit, purchase or activate software.
How we use it
We use this information to provide accounts, take payment, deliver licences and account email, administer subscriptions, prevent abuse and respond to support or privacy requests. The owner can access ordinary account and support records. Encryption of secret fields does not make all records invisible to the operator.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website and commerce database. Stripe hosts checkout and billing; we do not store full card details. Brevo delivers transactional email. These providers may process information outside Australia under their own service arrangements. Features within the apps can use other providers when enabled; see Software privacy.
Cookies and security
An HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in. We use short-lived hashed network identifiers for rate limits, provider security logs and owner audit records. This website does not add advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Signing keys and activation codes are encrypted; passwords are salted and hashed.
Retention and your choices
We retain account and licence information while needed to provide access, and billing or security records where needed for legal obligations or disputes. You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting [email protected]. Deletion may not include records we must lawfully retain; we will explain any applicable limitation.
Questions or complaints
Use our support form or email [email protected]. Tell us what information or issue your request concerns without sending passwords or card details. We will investigate privacy concerns and explain the outcome. If applicable, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
